Dr Maria Avelino

Maria has lived and worked overseas, Maria specializes in Women's Heath, Dermatology, Minor Surgery and Family Planning.

Dr Anita Holland

Anita specializes in Women's Health, Family Planning and Minor Surgery. She also is authorised to undertake recreational pilot aviation medicals. Anita has worked in New Zealand and Australia before joining us at our practice, Anita is from the UK. Anita works three days per week.

Dr Mark Wright

Mark has had significant overseas experience, working for the past 15 years as an Australian Army Doctor. Marks interests are Veteran Health, Children's Health and emergency medicine and minor surgery.
Mark works 4 days per week.


Dr John Valdivia

John migrated to Australia from Colombia in 2003. Since then he has worked in emergency medicine and General Practice.
John has special interest in Children's and family health

Brady Schulz

Brady Schulz, graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 with honors in Human

Movement Studies - Exercise Science, and then completed his Masters qualifications in Nutrition and

Dietetics at Griffith by 2009. 

  • -Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist and Director of Healthy Lifestyles Australia providing services to Australian Clinics
  • -Consultant Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist to Dalby, Roma, Chinchilla, Miles, Taroom, Wandoan, Tara, Cunnamulla, Thargomindah, Mt Isa, Cloncurry and Normanton , Sunshine Coast.
  • -Exercise Physiologist at QLD's largest tertiary forensic mental health facility.
  • -Exercise Physiologist within health studios and weight management clinics in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast.
  • -Experience within the sports nutrition departments of the Brisbane Broncos, QLD Firebirds and QLD Academy of Sport
  • -Experience within the talent scouting sector of the Australian Institute of Sport
  • -Research in the areas of food service, community health and professional responsibilities of specific health modalities
Brady's specific experience in the field of health extends over a wide array of modalities including:

Rachel Collins - Dietitian

Rachel Collins, graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2013 with a bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics and since then has worked in a variety of health care settings. Rachel has worked as a Dietitian within a QLD Health hospital facility, in the area of nutrition sales and more recently private practice with Healthy Lifestyles Australia. Rachel's passion to become a Dietitian stemmed from her previous work as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse and her love of helping individuals to achieve optimum health. She comes from a 'foodie' family and developed her love of all things food from a young age. Rachel understands that everyone's nutritional requirements differ. As a result she provides individualized assessment and tailored suggestions to suit your health goals. Rachel as a Dietitian/Nutritionist enjoys facilitating an environment where you feel empowered when   leaving the room through providing easy to understand ideas and strategies that you will be able to follow with ease to get the results you are looking for.  

Her main areas of interest include:
-Chronic disease management (including Cardiovascular Disease and Type 2 Diabetes)
-Health at all ages
-Weight management
-Aged Care
